WordPress & WooCommerce fixes in Kenya
WordPress problems usually come from a plugin, a theme or an update that didn't agree with the rest of the site. The job is finding which one, without breaking the shop in the process.
Common symptoms
What people tell me is wrong
“A plugin conflict, the white screen, a checkout that fails, or products that won't update.”
- The white screen, or a “critical error” message.
- Two plugins conflicting after an update.
- WooCommerce checkout fails or the cart empties itself.
- Products, prices or stock won't update.
- The admin dashboard is very slow or won't load.
What I check and do
How I fix it
I find which plugin, theme or setting is causing it, fix or replace it, and leave a note of what changed.
- 01
I take or confirm a backup before touching anything.
- 02
I check error logs and test plugins and the theme one at a time to find the conflict.
- 03
I fix, update or replace the plugin or setting that's causing it.
- 04
For shops, I run a test order through the checkout before handing back.
- 05
You get a note of what changed, including any plugin I removed or replaced.
Access and providers
When I need access or your provider
This needs a temporary WordPress admin account and usually hosting or file access. Paid plugins or themes sometimes need a valid licence for updates, and payment gateway issues may need your provider's support team; I'll tell you when that's the case.
I'll ask for a temporary account rather than your main password, and you can remove it when I'm done.
How it works
Four steps, no surprises
- 01
Send the link and what's wrong
A sentence is enough. A screenshot link helps if you have one.
- 02
I diagnose it
I look at the site, tell you what I found and send a fixed quote.
- 03
You approve, I fix
Nothing starts until you say yes to the quote.
- 04
I check it and hand over
I test on real devices and send short notes on what was wrong and what changed.
A diagnosis does not authorise extra paid work. Nothing is billed without your OK.

Questions
Things people ask
Can you fix my site without taking the shop offline?
Usually, yes. Where testing could affect customers, I work on a copy of the site or at a quiet time you choose.
Do you fix M-Pesa or card payment problems on WooCommerce?
I can find where the payment step is failing and fix the site side of it. If the problem is with the payment provider's account, you may need to contact them, and I'll tell you exactly what to ask.
Can you keep my WordPress site updated?
Yes. The monthly care plans cover routine updates, backup checks, uptime checks and a set number of support hours.
