Domain, DNS & SSL fixes in Kenya
When a domain stops loading or shows a security warning, the site itself is often fine. The problem is in the records and settings that point people to it.
Common symptoms
What people tell me is wrong
“The domain shows an error, the padlock is missing, old links go nowhere, or a deploy failed.”
- The domain shows an error or someone else's page.
- The browser warns that the site is not secure.
- The www and non-www versions behave differently.
- Old links lead to “page not found”.
- A deploy failed and the live site is stuck on an old version.
What I check and do
How I fix it
I point the domain correctly, sort out DNS records and SSL, set up redirects, and get the deploy running again.
- 01
I check the domain's DNS records and where they point.
- 02
I check the SSL certificate and whether it renews.
- 03
I set up redirects so old links and both versions of the domain end up in the right place.
- 04
I read the deploy logs and get the build running again.
- 05
I confirm the change has spread before calling it done.
Access and providers
When I need access or your provider
This needs access to the domain registrar or DNS provider and the hosting account. DNS changes can take a few hours to spread. If a domain has expired or is locked at the registrar, renewing or unlocking it is done through them.
I'll ask for a temporary account rather than your main password, and you can remove it when I'm done.
How it works
Four steps, no surprises
- 01
Send the link and what's wrong
A sentence is enough. A screenshot link helps if you have one.
- 02
I diagnose it
I look at the site, tell you what I found and send a fixed quote.
- 03
You approve, I fix
Nothing starts until you say yes to the quote.
- 04
I check it and hand over
I test on real devices and send short notes on what was wrong and what changed.
A diagnosis does not authorise extra paid work. Nothing is billed without your OK.

I deploy and run my own projects on Vercel, and the K.C Latin Dance School site is deployed there too, so build logs, domains and redirects are everyday work.
Questions
Things people ask
Can you move my domain to a different host?
Yes. I can point the domain at the new host and set up SSL and redirects so visitors and search engines follow without broken links.
Why does my site say it's not secure?
Usually the SSL certificate is missing, expired or only covers one version of the domain. It's normally a quick fix once I can reach the hosting settings.
