Website redesign in Nairobi, Kenya
A redesign doesn't have to mean starting again. If the site works but looks dated or reads badly on a phone, I redesign the pages that matter and keep what already works.
Common symptoms
What people tell me is wrong
“The site works, but it looks dated, feels cramped on a phone, or no longer matches the business.”
- The site looks a few years old next to competitors.
- Text is cramped or hard to read on a phone.
- Pages feel cluttered and visitors can't find the next step.
- The design no longer matches the business or its prices.
- The shop works but browsing and buying feel awkward.
What I check and do
How I fix it
I redesign the pages you choose (typography, spacing, layout and mobile) while keeping what already works.
- 01
We agree which pages are in scope and what the redesign should achieve.
- 02
I rework typography, spacing and layout, with mobile designed first rather than squeezed in.
- 03
I keep existing functionality such as forms, checkout and booking working.
- 04
You get two rounds of revisions on the agreed pages.
- 05
I test on real phones and desktops before handing over.
Access and providers
When I need access or your provider
A redesign needs access to the theme, page builder or code. New app features, extensive copywriting, branding, product entry, paid plugins and major migrations are outside a redesign and quoted separately if you need them.
I'll ask for a temporary account rather than your main password, and you can remove it when I'm done.
How it works
Four steps, no surprises
- 01
Send the link and what's wrong
A sentence is enough. A screenshot link helps if you have one.
- 02
I diagnose it
I look at the site, tell you what I found and send a fixed quote.
- 03
You approve, I fix
Nothing starts until you say yes to the quote.
- 04
I check it and hand over
I test on real devices and send short notes on what was wrong and what changed.
A diagnosis does not authorise extra paid work. Nothing is billed without your OK.
Pricing
Where prices start
You get a fixed quote after I've looked at the problem.
- Visual refresh of one existing page
- KSh 5,000International $75
- Landing page redesign
- KSh 10,000International $150
- Redesign of up to 5 pages
- KSh 20,000International $300
- Redesign of 6–10 pages
- KSh 35,000International $500
- Full redesign and rebuild
- KSh 45,000+International $650+
- E-commerce store redesign
- KSh 30,000+International $450+
Every price is a starting price. The final quote follows a short intake.
Questions
Things people ask
Will a redesign break what already works?
It shouldn't. Keeping existing functionality working is part of the scope, and I test forms, checkout and booking before handing over.
How many revisions do I get?
Two revision rounds on the agreed pages. Changes beyond that, or new pages, are quoted and approved before I start them.
Should I redesign or rebuild?
If the site's structure and content are sound, a redesign is usually cheaper. If the site is fragile or can't do what you need, I'll tell you a rebuild makes more sense.
